San Joaquin Energy provides funding to Tracy Seniors Association
October 26, 2016
AltaGas’ San Joaquin Energy, the Canada-based firm that operates the gas-fired electrical-power plant southwest of Tracy, contributed $1,700 to the Tracy Seniors Association to support its Safe at Home project.
The funds will be used to purchase and install bathroom “grab bars” in the homes of seniors and also other safety items, including shower benches and poles near beds to provide stability.
John Archibald, AltaGas San Joaquin Energy plant general manager said, “The support and services that Tracy Seniors Association provides to senior citizens are invaluable. We are proud to be able to provide support for their organization with funding that allows it to keep providing these services to seniors.”
